Re: Ball Joint Frame ZRX1 version

(...) It was Bryce's fault! I'm telling you! lol, just kidding. I think we remebered back to an early model that used some stiffening techniques. I absouletly know that your newer and later models do not use such techniques. Your still the Mac (...) (21 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Fixed the steering on my 8475

We're planning a Live event with the RC cars pretty soon, so I thought you all should know that I finally had enough of the way my RC racer couldn't drive a straight line and fixed the problem permanently with a little help from my friends Phillips (...)   Re: Why are slope bricks textured?

Something I have noted with recent roof bricks is that the texture on certain elements has become less and less. The 2x2 external and internal corner bricks I have had in recent sets and via pick a brick have been almost completely smooth. Pushing (...)   Re: Why are slope bricks textured?

Also, keep in mind that the slopes that came with the McDonald's Happy Meal sets a few years back were NOT textured. They had printed images on the sloped part, but if I remember correctly, that slope was smooth. eric harshbarger (...) (21 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.parts)

Re: Why are slope bricks textured?

(...) Do you mean part 3939? [LDrawPart 3939:46] Going by the data collected on Peeron, this part first appeared in 1978. For the next ~13 years, the part only appeared in transparent colors. So I'd guess it was intended as a windshield/canopy, (...) (21 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.parts, FTX)

  Re: RC racing track width

(...) That's a good question. I'm used to races based on time, not laps, but it doesn't mater either way. I would think around 10 would be good. (...) (...) That sounds like the datalog indicator - while RIS doesn't take advantage of it (to my knowledge), the RCX can function as a datalogger - the quarter of the datalog that is being loaded flashes, while the quarters of the datalog that are (...)   Re: What is that displayed on my RCX2.0?

I am not sure here - but could that mean that the batteries are seriously low? It would seem likely if they have been sat for a while, as even when powered down there is some residual current usage, and leakage in the RCX. Remember that when (...)   What that displayed on my RCX2.0?

G'day, I have been using my RCX 2.0 brick recently after it has been laying idle for a period.
