  Re: X-Wing Mark IV

(...) Thank you. I agree about the canopy, it was not until the thing was finished that I notice the discrepancy -- but then again, it is a beefcaked-up version of the x-wing so I figured (hoped) that could justify the scaling issues. Thank you for (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.space)

  big wedding figs?

Excuse me, I'm pretty 'out of it' in the land-of-LEGO these days. I got e-mail from someone who's interested in custom figs for a wedding cake (TECHNIC sized). They're not an AFOL. What can I tell this guy? Is there a list people who do this kinda (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: X-Wing Mark IV

(...) Thank you. Though the intake on the nose is actually a mistake, I was going to put some little greeblies there but in the excitement of actually finishing the darn thing I forgot. (...) I would do anything to get some more technic figures, (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: What if.....

(...) Very intersting idea! I am not myself a fan of skirted trucks, I like the built up effect you get by using plates and technic plates. But for some applications they make a lot of sense, and I think your one end part might be very useful. To (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: wanted: water fall ideas.......please

(...) :-) (...) Well, the tiles were a fortuitous purchase from LLC, but the actual waterfall itself is mainly comprised of 1x2 clear bricks, and very affordable (I guess affordability is relative) on BL; many can be had for around .10 each. (...) (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: MINIMUM-SPACE-POD

(...) You know Kotaro, I am French, and I leave in Taiwan, in a Chinese environment (and something of Japanese culture still remains here ;-)). English is not my mother tongue, like many of the posters on Lugnet. And I understand, I know that (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: My friend Zoli

(...) Yes, he is from Hungary. People from any country could be good Lego designers. Most people in the world just cannot afford Legos. They are an expensive hobby! (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: The Brick Testament: Othniel the First Judge of Israel

Excellent work Brendan. I always enjoy reading the Brick Teatament. Keep em coming! This picture especially had me rolling on the floor: (URL) looks like they were so ugly that it's all it took to drives the israelites off :) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: 2 new GBC modules...

Philo, These are brilliant! All of your modules are very nice, but my favourite is the jigsaw. I had to look at the pictures and video for a long time to understand how it worked. I finally realized that the black pieces on each side of the red (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, FTX)
