  Re: Widowmaker Mk. II

Nice, Kyle. This is a huge improvement over an already excellent mech. I love the missle racks and the feet are just perfect. It looks like something you would actually see out on the battlefield, not some frilly anime mecha. Very clean, nothing (...) (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Step, inizia a tremare...

(21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: Cell Phones are OK to use in hospitals.

(...) That's bunk. Cellphone don't produce anywhere near the wattage necessary to cause any significant interference. I'd throw this one on the same pile as the "cellphones cause gas staion explosions" myth. -Orion (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Thats no moon!!!

(...) Thats simple. All you have to do is be too close to the super-dimensional fortress Macross when it performs a hyperspace fold jump thingy. Your previously seaborne carrier will now be floating in space :-) Steve (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: My first 2-wide train.

(...) I HAVE to agree with Frank, 12 V conductor rails look most realistic: (URL) are even "better" than 8-wide track for "normal" trains, because the curve radius is much more realistic :) Paul (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Cell Phones are OK to use in hospitals.

(...) Most hospitals don't like you to use cell phones inside the building as they can cause interference with some of the machines and equipment inside. Trust me, I worked at a hospital over the summer, and the only mobile comms equipment we could (...) (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Latest build after a long break!

(...) (snip) (...) Hey Jas, I love this guy! The beefyness is great! The head/face has alot of character too. My favorite part of your mech is definitely the legs. Solid. My least favorite part would be the forearms. I would add a little length on (...) (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Cell Phones are OK to use in hospitals.

TAKE THAT calum!! (URL) if you'll excuse me, I'm off to the hospital with my YAGI antena and HAM equipment. Chris (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

ABScademy Awards vignettes and caption contest

Hi all, From Hollywood, it's the annual ABScademy Awards ... (2 URLs) Since I couldn't come up with any witty captions, I'll open this up as a caption contest. Sorry, no awards aside from fame and glory, but I'll put my favorite captions (URL) on my (...) (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.contests, FTX)
