  Re: Pics from ToyFair 2005

(...) It's for PC, PS2, XBox, and GBA - not the 'cube. Which is what I have, so my boys are likewise miffed. The screenshots and demo movies so far look awesome. (...) Excellent! I saw pix of that a few days ago, I'm so gonna get that one. I'm (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-05, to lugnet.year.2005)

Lego Cannon ( cannons ) design designs ( MOC MOCs )

Hi all, I did a lot of Lego cannon building research, for mine new cannons. see: (URL) I googled up a storm. But I can tell you that this group is the mother load Lego cannon design. I have compiled a few of the many useful cannon links. A thread (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-05, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Re: Pics from ToyFair 2005

Duh! I forgot what I think is pretty big news. The Thomas rumours are true. He'll be along later this year. In Duplo, but still... hope LEGO didn't have to pay through the nose. And, I saw the long awaited LEGO StarWars game, it's now almost done (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-05, to lugnet.year.2005)

  Pics from ToyFair 2005

I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Lego StarWars 2005 V.I.P. Gala event at the LEGO showroom at 25th and Broadway, in NYC, as part of this year's Toy Fair, so naturally I went... I uploaded a bunch of pics to BrickLink. They haven't been (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-05, to lugnet.year.2005, lugnet.lego) !!

  Re: 2nd GBC...

(...) So how's your rtl18 robot coming, Dave? Oh that's right, you're not building one. That's okay. I guess I'll just have to win instead. :) Iain (21 years ago, 20-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

Didn't the motor equipped trains use the plate-w/motor-hole? You can clearly see 3 6x16 plates in the photo. Comparing the box art to Brickshelf's 111 they certainly look to be the same - not knowing what a 115 looks like :-( Matthias (21 years ago, 20-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 2nd GBC...

(...) It has 8 steps. Each step is 2 plates taller than the previous step, so that's a 14 plate difference from the first step tp the last step (if we think of the first step being at 0)--so almost 5 bricks higher. I redid the top tiles--instead of (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Winter's New Direction: Study 17

WOW! That is really nice! I love all your studies. So far I wish I had a section of all your road and bridges so I can enjoy them here in my house. The stripes on the roadway worked out good. The main bridge structures and a joy to see. Thanks! e (21 years ago, 20-Feb-05, to lugnet.build)

Re: Insruction pics for Power Armor structure

The extra commentary helps during the building. You rock! I wonder how many of those cool Insectoids helmuts I have. Check out (URL) B.I.P> and add your info under Mecha! e Freze Fan (21 years ago, 19-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.inst, FTX)

  Re: Stormwalker MkII

(...) Great to hear. Stormwalker is a great Mech! (...) Awesome! (...) I like how you grew the feet. Wing plates work good on the feet, right?! They have a cool shape and match the body scheme well. An idea I wanted to share. I, and others have (...) (21 years ago, 19-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Velociraptor

Hey this is very cool. Green too! Building while under the weather. You have more than one sickness. I ought to know! Very cool Mech. Fast build! I really like the boat hulls under the arms and the wedge bricks in the shoulder structure. I see cool (...) (21 years ago, 19-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

(...) Looking at the instructions bottom left, it certainly looks like the loco has the motor, and I'm pretty sure the 111 instructions didn't have that. ROSCO (21 years ago, 19-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Stormwalker MkII

(...) Thank you Kyle! When I built Stormwalker I thought the weapons were go as they were. But in the replies to the original post nearly everybode told me they were to small. Well they all were right! I liked your idea of leaving the cockpit/body (...) (21 years ago, 19-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Velociraptor

(...) Missile banks flanking the cockpit is one of my personal favorite motifs. The overall style of the mech reminds me a lot of the Shadowcat, which is one of my favorite mechs to drive in MW4, although I think Velociraptor is at least twice as (...)   Re: Radial Engine (and V8 crankshaft)

Re: Looking for Priority Mail box #17's

(...) Thank you Paul, I am aware of that order page. Box size #17 is not on that page, it is a special order size that requires a (mixed size) minimum order of 13-palettes (tractor trailer load). Ordering that many for my own needs is way out of the (...) (21 years ago, 19-Feb-05, to lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: Insruction pics for Power Armor structure

(...) Hello Kyle, thanks for those instructions. I saw your power armor a while ago. I was fascinated and wanted to build one on my own. Well I failed! I couldn't figure out how you did it.   Re: Stormwalker MkII

(...) Nice work, Marco, the big guns are sweeeeeet! A good match for the main body. Also, kudos on bringing the hips closer together. Only a couple studs, as you mentioned, but I often find even small improvements are worthwhile. (21 years ago, 19-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
