  Inspiration need for building chassis

Could anyone point me to a good resource or a bunch of links for building chassises (or however you pluralize it) for Model Team scale, with emphasis on those meant for sports and concept cars? I tried looking at the official sets, but most of them (...) (21 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic)

  Re: LEGO museum in Ohio?

(...) That's what I was thinking also. Why would you put it in the middle of "no where" (no offense to anyone that lives in that area) but you would want it in a location that people would visit on a trip or something. I also find it strange that (...) (21 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.loc.us.oh, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: LEGO museum in Ohio?

(...) The bid is listed as being from Bellaire, Ohio which is way down south-east on the border with West Virginia, across the river from Wheeling. An interesting and very out-of-the-way place to put a museum. I'd think that TLC would be interested (...) (21 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.loc.us.oh, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: A little somethin' for everyone

Hello! Six members high- or spotlighted this message but nobody actually dares to answer? Well, finally somebody built some reasonable Belville MOCs! In terms of posing the figs Belville is unsurpassed (OK, never got a Scala fig between my fingers) (...) (21 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.belville, lugnet.build)

Re: Johnny five IS alive - first MOC

(...) Thank you very mutch (...) I think so. My first prototype modules have been build using black bricks because I did not own enough greys. Then I detected Bricklink.. :-) Steven (21 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build.mecha)

Don't worry, petitions to come later...

I opened the National Post this weekend and found this charming article about a My Little Pony fan convention in the UK: (URL) thought this was pretty cute until I realized they're where Lego fans were in 1995. Soon they'll start having threads (...) (21 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: 2005 release dates

(...) Yeah, it's actually a kind of cool process, molding two different types of plastic together into one piece. But a lot of people wanted it to be separate pieces. (...) Try BrickSet ((URL) and BZPower ((URL) for pictures and descriptions. - (...) (21 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: LEGO museum in Ohio?

(...) Most curious ebay placement. The picture of the school building almost looks like one of those old postcards (like from the 40s or 50s). Otherwise, I dunno. Ray (21 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.loc.us.oh, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company / Call for your signs! (no discussions here please)

(...) That's one of the more prominent. Others could include discouraging newcomers to the hobby, painting Lego enthusiasts to the general public in a bad light, etc. But since we're intrinsically linked to the Lego Company (there are no other (...)   Re: 2005 release dates

Not to appear to stupid here, but What is a Visorak? Are there pictures out there? I got one of the TOA Hordiak ad became despondent when I discovered it's cool looking weapon was 1 part not 2 separate parts. The silver is a stiff rubbery plastic (...)   Re: Police Assault Vehicle

(...) Oooh! I almost forgot. Here are the detailed instructions:(URL) -Duane (21 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: An homage to the spiders in my basement

(...) Thanks to everyone who responded. This actually started out as an expansion on my sphere-pod MOC. I did the driver's compartment first and worked forward. The legs were rather easy (a bit weak for the weight of the model though...). The middle (...) (21 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Hi Bruce! To be honest I didn't know Johnny Carson before. But I like the furniture. Bye Jojo (21 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.town)

  Re: need help with instructions

Ahui Herrera- The only program I have is Adobe Photoshop. Now when you are talking about creating the steps, do you save each individual MLCad step as a seperate entity so it can be set against Photoshop? If not, then what? (21 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Hey JoJo! I think both sides of this flame war are guilty of this. To various degrees there are worse offenders, but when people rightly pointed out that this disparaging letter would do more harm than good, they were shouted down. I think, (...)   Re: Police Assault Vehicle

(...) Mostly unruly minifigs. Actually, my whole drive for this model was the turret. I wanted to develop a compact turret that would still hold a minifig. I had a more compact version, but had to enlarge it to fit in the driver. -Duane (21 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: From beautiful downtown Burbank . . .

(...) Audience: (Cheers wildly) Carnac: (head turns slowly towards audience with deadpan expression) "May a camel in heat make looove to your leg!" Well done, Bruce. (...) --lots of stuff deleted --- Calum et al, I think the main concern here seems to be that the sending of this letter will harm you, by affecting TLC's view of you/our AFOL community? I, personally disagree with the tone, and therefore will not (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
