Re: Colour photos from Russia in the early 1900s

  Re: My Second MOC

(...) I took that pic but you're welcome to use it. I remeber being completely captivated by the stained glass windows. I probably should have taken more pictures but I was busy helping to run LDraw.org's programs that I didn't get a chance to snap (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

  Re: GR-Destroyer

(...) My 2-yr-old son is three feet tall and 38 pounds, and it looks like Monstrobo is about the same size! (How many Krispy Kremes does it eat at a sitting?) What a truly astounding feat, to make something that big look that good. All Keith can say (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My Second MOC

(...) I agree with Joe, it's depressing how much good stuff I missed, or only got to glance at... these pics fill in a lot of the details I didn't get to see at the time. I love stained glass, especially when used in non liturgical contexts... (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

  Re: My Second MOC

(...) A simply beautiful model, and one that really has to be seen in person to fully appreciate. I'm glad to see these pics because I was doing 'administrative duties' - running like a chicken without a head - during BrickFest. The front section (...)   RE: Robolab Documentation

Although I shall not consider that as a manual, this is a very good reference book for intro to Robolab. Well, just say intro may not be fair either, as it does include some advanced concepts at the end of the book. It contains useful sample codes, (...)   question for lego direct regarding sets 4403 and 7031

Can someone (jake?) from LEGO find out what the deal is with these sets. Both sets show that the "fan"/"engine center" piece (used as the tail rotor on the 7031) are supposed to come in black. But my copy of both sets came with grey. Is there a (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)

Re: What does RCX stand for?

(...) Something appears to be lost in the translation. Check here: (URL) emphasis of Mindstorms series is on eXploration rather than on systems. CS (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: Steel Falcon Redeux

(...) Its still available on Brickshelf, I go by "xolarmac86" if you need to find it. I wasn't embarassed, it just felt silly leaving them together like that, for some reason. I'm glad you liked it though! Chris (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Costco

(...) one (...) do (...) Hey, that's a heckuva lot easier for me to get to, too, rather than driving downtown (or wherever). Plus, its near the AIRPORT! And airport=fun. I like to pretend that the planes are alive, like they're big goofy birds. That (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) appeared at (...) (URL) (...) Jeff, that is so cool! I love how you used the blue 1/4 rev monorail canopies upside down like that. This makes me want to make a LEGO model of the house I want to build someday. Iain (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Flexible axles with lsynth

(...) Hi Matt, LS40.dat is not a hose constraint (axle constraint). It is provided to you to put ends on your flexible axles. The second example you provide is the correct one. Simply add LS40.DAT on each end of the axle, and you have a complete (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

  My Second MOC

This is my second MOC, a castle I built for BrickFest 2004. (URL) was inspired by the amazing work of Johannes Koehler, which can be seen particularly in the trees and building details (i.e. the balcony). Inspiration also came from Brendan Powell (...)   Date for microstacking?

Well, As it turns out the only Saturday in February that will work for me is the 26th. I hope this works for others because I am very interested in this event and have a decent start on my robot. Who else is building a microstacker? Anyone? Rob (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Tallest lego crane

(...) Mark, one site that has some good pics and a clear explanation of truss design is (URL) and there's *lots* more on BrickShelf and elsewhere.
