There's no reference complier for C code, no reference viewer for the PNG format, and no reference CAD program for the DXF format, why should there be one for the LDraw system? (...) I think there are two separate, and related, questions here: Do we want to keep supporting DOS as a platform? Do we want to keep supporting LDraw 0.27? (...) Well, I believe that that big grey zone is there because the people at TLC is just as uncertain on how to place the boundary as we are; not to terrorize us with having a secret boundary to sit behind anxiously waiting for the opportunity to punish (...)
