  Re: Brickshelf

(...) There is a note at the top of the Brickshelf home page regarding database problems. I sent an email to the address given, and Kevin got my missing folder (and contents) restored in short order. (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

  Brickshelf

Does anyone have any information regarding the convulsions Brickshelf seems to be experiencing at the moment? Many of the photos I've uploaded in the past week have not reappeared (after having been on there yesterday morning), and I was curious as (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

  1 : 25 Gatehouse

After nearly a year of designing, drawing and building, I have finished the gateway to Sokenniwell Castle, just in time for LW2004, a great Dutch LEGO-event. Don,t mind the Bel-girls too much. Their presence is only for being a reference for the (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.announce.moc)

(...) Thanks for posting those Tim. The one in St. Catharines had 2 2714's. I don't know if there are more there. The store clerk found the 2 I bought in their store room (not on the floor). (...) They are using Lego for the "large buildings" (I would assume that they are using various bricks for them and poker chips for the "small buildings". They are only using gravel for the roads. Ben Medinets (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.mediawatch)

Re: S@H Exchange Rate?!?! (was Re: BNSF high balls it!)

(...) I think I have to back Kevin on this one. Major international corporations charge a fixed exchange rate. This is an acceptable Accounting Practise. However, I would look back at year end (or whenever the audit would take place) and question (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) I use a modified stud.dat with logo. (I want to build virtual Lego models, not MB ;-) Then mirrored studs also occur in MLCad and LDGlite and L3Lab. Niels (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Mercedes Benz Actros 1840 Strawtransport, Scale 1:13

Hi Anders, It's a very nice model. It's very life like because you've added lots of details. And the opening doors are a nice detail as well. Now you can have a good look into the driver's cab. And do they want to buy your model? I think it suits (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam, FTX)

On ebay: several MISB including 1590 ANWB

On ebay I offer several MISB sets like 1590 ANWB, 6395 Victory Race Lap, 6022 horse cart and Shell soccer promo's. Take a look at: 1590 (URL) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: S@H Exchange Rate?!?! (was Re: BNSF high balls it!)

(...) I'm going to have to disagree with your logic here. Main Street came out last year at an exchange rate of 1.31 (85Cdn vs 65US) and the Canadian dollar is doing MUCH better than last year. Why suddenly 1.50 versus 1.31, or the current ACTUAL (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Big Truck

I recently saw this truck, and I must say it is huge! My only qualm with it is that it, along with all the other big technic trucks I've seen on Brickshelf, always use independent front suspension. As for compliments, I'd have to say that's a nice (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic)

Re: I want to become a reviewer

(...) This is exactly why I consider mirrored studs to be a non-issue. This error manifests itself on only one program (L3P) and is able to be compensted for (LDView). I strongly suspect (although Lars will have to confirm) that the next version of (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)
