  Re: Telehandler

(...) Sweet looking vehicle :) Now, I particularly like the steering ... simple idea, looks very neat, wish I'd thought of it ... How well does it function? (URL) (best seen in the pic above) Chris. (22 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Magnetic sensor

(...) OK, I ordered two but does anyone already own one that could comment on its use? Uses I could see would be a decoupler or crossing arms. With enough of them spaced throughout the layout (hooked in series with resistors to increase sensor (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics, FTX)

Re: Lego changes CEO after new losses

(...) I think they'd have better spent the money on LEGO stores throughought the US. I think stores where you can "pick a brick" would do much to increase sales. More widespread "pick a brick" sales could be part of an overall strategy to make TLC (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: A Day in the Life (was:Re: Lego changes CEO after new losses_

(...) Well, I meant that as a joke. I am aware that Bionicle is extremely sucessful. But your post did get me to thinking. Bionicle is such a strong brand by itself that as long as TLC is looking to sell properties to (I assume) raise (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: LEGO Article in GAMES magazine

I'm posting a self-follow-up article to point to the URL of my webpage I've finally gotten around to writing: (URL) snowman and magazine article are both discussed. Cheers, eric (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.mediawatch)

Re: How to mount a LARGE mosaic

(...) Hot glue works well and you can peel it off the baseplates later on but it still has a high sheer strength. If you are not worried about recovering the baseplates later on then I would use a construction adhesive. PL300. Its for securing (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

Re: New Moc - Lego Fair (and apparently 5 cents was overpriced)

(...) LOL!!!!!!! Hey Jude, you're NUMBER One!!!!! Nothing like leading the pack of smack. You are right though on two things.... one, I never did program the RCX, my son did, and two, the standards are low, but I'm afraid that happened way before I (...) (...) Larry, Just an MOC and I do stray from time to time off canon SW. In fact I also do other genre like space, castle and mecha (need lots of practice) besides SW. Thanks, AC (22 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

(...) LOL!!!!!!! Oh man, just looking at that makes me crack up again, Jude, you need serious help, more then the group can give you. Thanks Ka-on, that made my day! Janey "Red Brick" (22 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, FTX)

Re: How to mount a LARGE mosaic

(...) How permanent is permanent? If it's REALLY permanent, just glue the baseplates down with a little adhesive. I'm sure there's something out there that sticks to both wood and plastic. Adrian (22 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

Re: Lego changes CEO after new losses

(...) Um, have you seen some of the Disney theme parks as of late? This would be a poor idea. Outsourcing parks like Legoland isn’t a bad idea, if you pick the right company to run them. Six Flags = Bad. However, all of Disney’s Tokyo parks are (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.legoland, FTX)

use of single features of BrickOS

Hi, I am working for the university of Stuttgart. And like universities are, they always need to do something special. That's why my task is to use Micro C/OS-II with the Bricks.   is this idea possible?

I see these new fancy robotic vacuum cleaners advertized on the TV that can drive around the floor and avoid obstacles. Is it possible to produce a RCX powered robot (using just one RCX) that does the same thing (although without the actual (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: MADE IN CHINA?!?!!?!?! that's IT Lego Re: Lego changes CEO...

(...) I would like to see exactly how much more expensive per anum to make the stuff in Denmark than it is to make it in China. And what the extra expense is going towards (taxes? wages? electricity costs? what?) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

How to mount a LARGE mosaic

All, I've got a pretty big (5x8 48 stud baseplate) mosaic that needs to be on permanent display at our local hospital. There is an acrylic panel in front to keep little fingers from prying the 1x1s off, but it reduces the tactile feel :-( Anyways, (...) (22 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic)
