Re: Aste, astine, astici e pure gamberetti :-P

Re: LDGlite and LPub (and maybe ldview?

(...) LDView has a nice feature where you can specify the default color for parts. I use rgb(128,128,80); it's close to grey, but tinted enough to easily differentiate grey parts from color 16. Andy (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: LDGlite and LPub (and maybe ldview?

(...) Ahh, nevermind. That didn't really work either. Applying the opaque/transparent only filter right before dumping the png is simple, and looks good enough for me. I'm going with that and forget about the icky sharp outer edges for now. They (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Lattice windows revisited and modified (wasRe: lattice windows)

(...) SNIP (...) Hello Gary Istok, thanks for your compliment and the 2 cents ideas! I will be one (of the first?) to buy your CD, just to see the cover ;-) Your words on stainglassed windows are correct. But since it's so difficult to look into (...)   Re: Crate Contraption Standard

David, Thanks for the input. I think the goal for the Great Ball Contraption will be different from your Crate Contraption for a couple reasons. For example, I don't expect this to run constantly. I'm hoping we'll be able to make it work for (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Re: Lattice windows revisited and modified (wasRe: lattice windows)

(...) Great ideas! But I just want to point something out for making it "realistic". That is ALL great churches and cathedrals with stained glass do not show the glass color on the outside. What that means is from the inside one sees lots of color, (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

Re: ToPleSs : the Art of building between the studs

(...) That is a great resource. I'll have to download and read through all of those. Classic-castle.com does have a "how-to" page: (URL) aren't as nicely packed into PDF format (though that is a thought). We're always looking for great articles to (...)   Re: Library Scenes

Hey Marc, This is great! I'm flattered to have any role in inspiring this. I like the computer soluton you used. It's so readily recognizable even without using printed tiles for the keys or screens. Why the stubbies? Does this reflect an actual (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: Closing airlocks

(...) The (URL) Tribunal> has 3 different types of airlocks. There's the sealing door airlock that uses martian arms as a double-hinge mechanism to allow the door to seat into the frame: (URL) There's the standard plate hinge door that is used all (...)   Re: Question about quality of Best Lock...

(...) I use a number of creatures that aren't statted up by Steve Jackson. Mummies, ghosts, skeletons, all the various dinosaurs, elephants, etc. In fact, mostly I don't use the creatures that Steve Jackson statted up... Frank (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.gaming)
