 | | Any interest in 8480 Technic Spaceshuttle?
|

Would anyone be interested in purchasing any 8480s? A store near me has a lot in stock, and they aren't moving at all. If I can get five people, I'll try to get a discount. I'd prefer e-mails, but I'll check here just in case. Thanks! Jeff (27 years ago, 24-Jun-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

 | | Odd result from L3P

I L3P'd a part I'm working on which was colored tan (382). But in POV, the part came out gray (7). Here's the relevant code in the POV file. I figured out that by manually changing the "Color7" at the bottom to "Color382" it came out tan. Possible (...) (27 years ago, 24-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad)

Chris, I agree with others about 4559, it's a great set for parts. I used a good deal of the parts from 4559 to build my 4-4-0 steam engine as seen at: (URL) excuse the poor picture quality, I haven't updated the site in a while. And, BTW, I'm a (...) (27 years ago, 24-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains)

Hey! I was reading old posts and it looks like a bunch of you got together around April for a "fest" of some sort at Gary Istok's place. How was it? Any pictures taken? URL for them? What did I miss? (...) I really need to get some pictures of my re-build of the 4559 engine (using parts from 2 4559 and 2 5542). I also need to get back to train building and finish the rebuild of the cars. This set is a lot more useable than it would appear. (27 years ago, 24-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Yes, it seems that alot of the fancy "educational" toy stores look down their noses at LEGO; which is arguably the most education highest quality toy produced. It is strange. Chris (27 years ago, 24-Jun-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Last night Geoff and I went to the West Broad St. TRU to get a watergun.
