  Re: Gateway patent using Lego

If I am reading this correct, they are trying to steal Ldraw right from under our noses. I am most definitely very worried about this. Please take note that the LCD (Ldraw connection database) is probably a better example of prior art than Ldraw by (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: It's perfect!

(...) Bad form, but I'm replying to my own message - 'cause I forgot to tie it into Star Wars. I did a quick study a couple of years ago on the AT-ST. If you check out the pictures from the movie, you can see that the AT-ST does indeed have a knee (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: How many brick separators do you need if a brick separator could split bricks?

(...) Yes, I do this all the time. One thing I've found though, is that using brick wrenches (what I call brick separators) can damage pieces when used on the underside. So to reduce the likelihood, I apply the brick wrench near the edge of the (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: 8475 Motor Tests

This is interesting information, thanks TJ. I must say that I got the visual impression that the buggy motors seemed to have more than a mere 2 - 3 times more shaft power output than the gear motors. The little piece of data which would add greatly (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

Re: MOC - Bowman Fields' Cottage

Wow, Jeremiah! I am impressed! For your first castle building, this is quite good. Heck, this is good for someone's 50th castle building. It is small but that makes for a good challange. You really fit everything needed in that little space. Quite (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)
