Re: The Vegetable Fighter Project continues: Carrot-wing Fighter

This is a freaking blast. Not only is it a smart looking ship in it's own right, but it's also a carrot! And let's not forget it contains the daily recommended dose of betacarotine :) Awesome. Cheers, -Gil (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Playing with scale

Hey. I had to look at the MTA bus first! * These are becoming "cartoon scale" - not really a scale at all, but a style. Still very bricky. I can't get over how the SW minis are so not bricky. -Erik (...) exactly from my home, to Target (College Pt), (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

  Half sized tank track

It looks like one of the new parts in 2003 is a tank track that is half the length. I zoomed in to the vehicle and brightened the picture from the 7419 LEGO Dragon Fortress. You can see the picture at (URL) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: It's perfect!

Crossposted to .mecha - this thing is all good parts. (...) - This thing is huge. Looks to be a foot or so tall. While this isn't the 'real' scale, I think it's convincingly gigantic and the details and proportions are better than I expected. - (...)   Playing with scale

All: Well, after building some tiny NYC landmarks, I decided to make some tiny cars to go with them. Tiny cars: (URL) all about 2x4 studs.) I made models of some of the minifig-scale cars I have in my city. Namely: taxicabs, a police car, a bus, an (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.town) !!

Re: One last HoverBike for you comic fans

That's great work. The colors are perfect. I like the hinge pieces to the sides of the seat. And Spidey rocks with that helmet. -Andrew (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Star Wars Hoverbikes

Excellent work. I like the compartment in the back of the HoverSlave I. You did a good job on both of them combining the HoverBike with the corresponding SW ships. -Andrew (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: A Generic Idea

Speaking of PDAs, specifically Pocket PC's, the HP iPAC 5450 has Consumer IR, will that automatically take care of the comm thing with the RCX? Then I guess that would be ideal, tho expensive ($700 in Sweden). But that's provided there is a (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Going Podracing!

Hey guys! I think things have been kind of slow because of the holidays. I just started replying to posts again today. Anyway, your diorama is quite cool. I am one of your castle fans, but I have several star wars friends. So, I can appreciate star (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: GG-1 Model Complete

The inner trucks are just floating - this does lead to occasional (ok, often) derailments. The engine can handle turnouts and crossings, but not as consistantly as I would like. (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Securities Firm and Statue Maker's Marketplace

Hey Nathan, Very neat MOCs. I especially like the statue makers shop. Now I really have to build one of my own, since you and Lenny have done one! The securities firm almost looks like it could be a gate to me. Maybe the entrance to your market? The (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Japanese Fishing Village

Hi Keith, Can't believe I am the first person to respond about this. Especially after all the posts about the Himoda temple. Your village is very cool. I like the stone shrines a lot. You do a very good job building in the japanese style. I am very (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The Bazaar - Project for the Medieval Marketplace

Hi Stephen, Great job on the bazaar! Looks just as I imagined it when I read the word "Bazaar." Way to go. The wide variety of stuff for sale lends it a very nice feel. Very much like a flea market. I really like the awning using the spears. Nice (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: My new MOC : Medieval fortified town

Hey Denix, Well Done! Your modules are quite impressive. Of course, that is what we have come to expect from you :). I especially like the way you built the building over the edges of your plates so that the interiors are accesible. The basement (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: NSW 40 Class...revamped yet again!

  Re: makedepend variable in Makefiles

Investigating into this further, apparently from the comments in CVS, a change was made to the makefile in legOS\boot (Rev 1.2) and legOS\demo (Rev 1.2) some three years ago. The comment stated "replaced makedepend by MAKEDEPEND". But no similar (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
