Re: Christmas in Australia (ISCC entry)

The quality of the pictures was good enough to show some pretty great details. I really like the scenes you build. Great stuff, and especially this scene: (URL) am soooooo jealous of your collection of lego-food. Saskia (who really wants some (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.town)

  Re: Three HoverBikes

Cool stuff Andrew. I agree with Gil - the Alpha Stalker's my pick of the litter. The slope on the back of the bike is especially cool, as is that massive nose. No need to fly around walls with this bike. -Chris (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Dragonfly Hoverbike

Wow, that's really cool. Great color scheme. Those slopes on the front look particularly menacing, especially looking at it headon. Side pods really work well with the rest of the design. And a really cool fuel cell! -Chris (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: LNP problem

(...) You are right, that would have probably given me a segfaut if the handler would have ever been called, but it isn't. Even a single, static printf in the handler doesn't work. What worries me are the error messages lnpd reports: (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: A Generic Idea

(...) There's a caveat you miss, it is limited using the forms of modulation that modems use (ie FSK derived). For example ISDN uses a different sort of modulation (ie Q-modulation) and it does 128k over the same phone lines. I use ISDN to connect (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: MOC: Starship Cygnus

That's a very unique shape. The interioir rocks, especially the bridge. I love the bridge... the seats and the railing and the tiles on the floor all make for an exceptional bridge. And the beds are really very nice, as well. Very cool! -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Sunstreak Hoverbike

That's a very beefy hoverbike- I like the parts that stick out, such as the antennas and the two tiles up front. The color sceme is nice, too, along with the engine. Very nice... anybody gonna build a hoverbike starting pit? :) -JHK (Who is torn (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: LPub 2.1.0.3 released

I ran into the want for orthographic camera, with my pneumatic adding machine MOC, and made some discoveries. You can simulate orthographic images with a camera angle of 1.   Re: My hoverbike.

That's a very cool use of the Slave I piece. Very nice shape around it, I particullarly like the engine section. The round sticking out bits have a nice feel. And the nose, is, well, nice! :) -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)
