Im trying to build a segmented centipede-type robot. There are several sections, each self-locomoting, connected together by a rod that will allow the other segment to swivel up, down, left and right by about 20 degrees each (hypothetically). Does anyone know if you can call a process from within another process? I keep getting a RUNTIME ERROR 01 when trying this. Even calling it from a function, other than main(), gives me this error. Note that the Handyboard runs in 'special test mode' which has as a benefit a lifting of the 64 cycle limit. Specifically you can switch in and out of single chip mode at will, which is essential for driving the LCD display. --Chuck (26 years ago, 5-Apr-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

I was wondering if anyone on the list has had any experience with or has a good cheap source for small force sensing resistors. I want to use them on the feet of a small walker and cant seem to find a good source for them. (26 years ago, 4-Apr-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Hello everybody, It's been a while since my last e-mail. Thanks for all the help so far. I've managed to connect a RadioMetrix ((URL) radio transceiver to the Handy Board. One of the more common problems with the somewhat larger packages that the Dallas memories come in is pin bending. Hi All, I'm curious. I've been watching all the stuff come through about using a '811E2 chip in the Handyboard. My question is: What are the advantages of this? i have more info to that puzzle. I assembly two mother handy. One work fine , the other only download to a common memory, don't download to a dallas memory !!! Hi Fred, thanks for the answer. Oh yes I try'd all, that is possible with the pcbug342 but without success. A very good tip comes now from Adrian Susianto about the "64 cycles" after reset (thanks Adrian). I remember, that I read about this in a (...) Does any one know of a source for Hall Effect sensors? I know DigiKey sells them, but I just want to buy a few. I don't want enough stuff to get me upto the $25.00 minimum order.
