| The encoder function pages say that for the fast encoder, the refresh rate is only 1 KHz. That is it can make only 1000 increments in a second. | The "modem cable" used to connect the computer to the serial interface/charger: Is this a "null modem" cable with the transmit & receive lines (pins 2 & 3) crossed, or is is a straight pin-to-pin serial cable? | Maarten -- Quickly I can make the guess that your local copy of PCODE_HB.S19 is corrupt. The fact that PCODER22.S19 works indicates there's nothing wrong with your board. | I'm at the phase of bringing up a handyboard till a point where I have to start IC for the first time (chapter 6.0.5). Sure, there's no reason you could set it up to use PD4, PD5, and TIC3 for a 2nd sonar. you might be able to get away with some signal multiplexing, assuming you're only firing one sonar at a time. i could see the BINH being no problem.
