  Tracked Extraction Unit  [DAT]

Now that all of the parts are official, I thought I would post this model. I built it a few months ago as a space version of an ambulance. It later turned into this, which I call a Tracked Extraction Unit. It sounds so much cooler. :-) 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dat)

  Idea Book

I found a new Idea Book #697. Printed in Germany it has a 1997 copyright date and has 43 pages. There are over 40 stickers in the back of the book. If anyone is interested, they can have it for $6 US and postage, or perhaps a trade. Mark Parker (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: spare parts and sets that would be good

The Lego/Datca catalog has accessory parts packs for mini figs and some of the instructional sets. Some Technic parts in bulk ie: differentials, gears(50 - 100 per bag) and pneumatic parts. It's a freebie catalog, get it from their web site. -- (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  SW Lego @ Norwich

Arrived Tuesday. Toy Stack had all but the X-Wing, and the speeder bikes had sold out by Thursday lunchtime, while Jarrolds (a local department store) had them all. Prices in UKP (noted where different from LL Windsor, as suggested by Richard Dee (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Name that goo!

(...) It's used by the machines that assemble the mini-figures to tell which side is the front, so it can line the face up properly. The "Linda Blair thing" is strictly optional! ;-) JG (Of course, remove ".nospam" to reply) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

  MPD Parts? (and a confession)

Okay, so it is easy to display an MPD file, but what do people think about allowing part files to be MPDs? This would allow making the sub-parts that are related to a part to be packaged with the part. The trick is how to determine what file an MPD (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Todd Lehman wrote in message ... (...) Small world - hopefully you were here on Saturday when the weather was nice. Sunday was kind of nasty ... ;-) Here is my assessment of the LEGO market in the Cary, NC area where I also live. If you are familiar (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral)

  Re: Compiler

Hi Lou, new binaries would be nice. I did create an archive, but I didn't feel like pumping those Megabytes over my modem yet. Mine is about 3.3MB, though - did your install script really strip all those executables? Markus. (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: 3-wire converter for homebrew sensors

(...) I wonder if you have looked at the simple method for connecting sensors to a RCX on my web page? It really only takes 6 diodes and a capacitor to create a powered sensor interface. Add a opamp if you need gain. This work was originally (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.robotics)
