I placed an order with Digital Micro Systems for two complete handyboard systems on 16-April-97. Delivery was promised by 5/12. It has not been received. Three phone calls to their answering machine (is this place ever open?) have remained (...) (27 years ago, 20-May-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

w/o the ds1233, the contents of the ram will become corrupted during power-up or power-down of the 6811. an r/c could protect during power-up, but wouldn't reset the 6811 during power down. remember it's still trying to execute code as system (...) (...) I called them up a couple of weeks ago to order complete boards, and they said they were backordered on the completed kits, but could send an unassembled kit. So I ordered a kit and it arrived in 3 days. It turned out that I had received a bad (...) (27 years ago, 20-May-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
