  Re: 2001 search...

(...) Sometimes looking is part of the fun for me. But then again when you turn up empty handed it is a bummer. oh The excitment of looking up to the top shelf and seeing 4 TIEs turned backward so all you can read is the set number and the other (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 2001 search...

(...) I know, it's a crying shame. I picked up one of the large UFO sets there on clearance this summer. They used to be a great source for Lego. (...) I forgot about the Target on Circle! I'm rarely in that part of town ('cept when I go to the (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Walmart Droid Developer Kits

(...) Yes, that is the case. I ran into a Lego rep at the local Meijer while trying to find $15 DDKs and she said they were coming directly from Lego to clear out inventory. Steve Martin martinsa@mail.com (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: hello?... (was "where is latest version of lego geek code")

(...) Probably not. Can't think of anyone I know of who might know, short of Todd maybe... I don't think it's been a really hot topic though... Anyone heard of anything recently?   Re: F40PH Instructions on Brickshelf

I would love to see a CD full of quality instructions... Sort of a "Best of the LUGNET Trains Community" type CD. But yes, even with a CD based book, the time and effort organizing it would be considerable. Did the LDRAW folks get their CD finished? (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Cascades Mono Coupler Details Now Showing

(...) One source about the Amtrak Cascade is Amtrak. Another is the Washington State Department of Transportation. Here are some links I've found: (URL) is a nice review of the Cascade written by a passenger in 1999: (URL) best photographs I've (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: F40PH Instructions on Brickshelf

My feeling is the bottom line is that it takes a lot of time and effort. Printing costs I believe are quite high especially on small runs. Although I was thinking about a CD based "book" with browsable images and then much larger printable images. (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

hello?... (was "where is latest version of lego geek code")

  Re: For you German speakers

Hello, You can machine translate it, although the results are pretty horrible. I will send you my original manuscript via a private e-mail. I would post it to the list, but then I think NZZ Folio might get upset. Regards, Jonathan (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Custom Built LEGO Sets in 2002

(...) Agreed. It just seems a waste of effort, because presumably first you had to design the real one to find out what parts you needed (or build a real one, but in either case, divine the needed parts). Someone may write a mixmaster program to (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)
