  18-inch Lego Minifigures

Dear Lego, On a recent trip into Toys R Us on a quest for new Lego, I saw one of the most eye-catching displays I have seen in quite some time. On the top Lego shelf was this giant display, all lit up and surrounded by ~18 inch tall Lego (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: LEGO Company Welcomes Adult LEGO Enthusiasts

I've been reading this thread with interest. The PC industry was created when Compaq reverse engineered the BIOS chip on the IBM PC back in the early 80's. All other components of the computer were bought from other sources. The only chip IBM (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Cathedral of Ice MOC

Yep - Actually, the Paradisa windows would be the most effective torture. I have a few of the corners, but none of the straight ones. As for the white round arches, at least the new 7315 (Solar explorer) has 4 of these. Now, I need the inverse (...) (...) Wow, this is incredible! I particulary like the cross on the roof with the buttresses "flowing" out from it. Thats a nice architectual touch. (...) I'm interested! Rob robo2705@hotmail.com (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Cathedral of Ice MOC

Okay, so for some people it would be toothpicks under the fingernails, for others tiny drops of water dropping on their foreheads, and for still others bright flashing lights that deprive them of sleep -- but for Brad it would be those full round (...)   Re: Anyone have empty blue tubs?

I don't have any blue tubs that I want to get rid of but I have a bunch of the small red (4285), large red (4288), and purple (2494) buckets that I want to get rid of. I know that WAMALUG (now WAMALTC I guess) were using the small tubs as post (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.org.us.wamalug, lugnet.loc.us.md)

  Parts auction on ebay

Hi. I've started another parts auction on ebay. I've got a variety of tan, gray and dark gray bricks and plates, as well as a bunch of special parts. There are also some city theme minifigs and some ghosts and skeletons. Here's the link: (URL) if (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Chrome sets

(...) I found some chrome sets at kohls in maplewood mall over the weekend. And as an added bonus they were 20% off. Worked for me, I bought my four, built my suit of armor, and was happy for the remainder of the weekend Adam (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.us.mn.msp)

Re: Using Vision Command as a Smart Sensor

(...) Nice page. It's such a shame that LEGO didn't think to just allow a person to use the MSG's when a zone is active... That's one huge oversight... Dean -- Coin-Op's For Sale!: (URL) Lego Workshop: (URL) Lego Club: (URL) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.vc)

  Re: Cathedral of Ice MOC

Thanks for all the compliments. This one actually took several days to complete. Most of my CAD creations are done in a few hours. I guess CAD building is much faster than real building. Ay-ya-yie, Brad! Sheesh!! I'm just speechless. As *usual*.   'chrome' sets all sold in one day
