Re: What is the deal with 1x1 Blue Plates?

(...) Right. Notice that Selcuk said that 6694 has a 2x2 clear plate, and that it is rare in 1980's sets, and I responded that the 6680 1980's era set also has a clear plate. I understand that there is only one set with a clear tile. James (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.general)

Got it today! WOO WOO!!!   Re: A new Zainy Brainy just opened...

(...) Well, I thought I responded to this earlier, but I guess it was only in my imagination. I contacted Zainy and it doesn't appear as if they are doing anything spectacular for the Grand opening. No sales on any Lego :( Rob, Are you from around (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.us.pa.phi.har)

Re: What is with the Technic Stormtrooper?

Yep, I agree. I actually don't but technic anymore just for the reason that these beam pieces are not LEGO enough. The main pieces they use are the L-shaped studless beam mentioned above. They also use way too many rods and those giant molded (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)
