Re: New Catalogue - it's out!

(...) I saw this set in Jenners on Saturday. It looks like all the whells are driven directly by the motor - ie no gearing! Is this so - if so, shame on TLG Scott A (26 years ago, 21-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.eu, lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: psssstt..Mladen over here..

Well although it looks like this post is especially for Mladen I really feel that I should give my comments on this. It looks REALLY good! If this is just a low resolution render than I will have to hold my breath for the Final thing! I love (...) (26 years ago, 21-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Voting Open for LCAD Parts Update 2000-02

(...) Yes, that was why I was unsure muself about the use of "Decorated". It would be confusing. (...) That sounds like a good idea to me! This will separate the Slizer-originated elements from the earlier gear boxes, which are purely functional and (...) (26 years ago, 21-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: PNLTC breaks guiness record!

(...) Thank you, the project was a lot of fun and yes, a whole lot of work (the money part we try to ignore :-). (...) I'll see if I have some pics of these, if not from this show then a previous show. (...) Tom (26 years ago, 21-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: PNLTC breaks guiness record!

(...) Actually that is it, 3343 feet of one continuous run, after which we switched (moved track around) over to about 28 separate lines, now that looked cool having that many trains running a once. :-) I think the longest loop at that point was (...) (26 years ago, 21-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Voting Open for LCAD Parts Update 2000-02

I have one comment on the part "2079.dat - Technic Liftarm 1 x 9 Offset Cross". (URL) part is basically a "liftarm" type of element, and those usually have a cross axle hole in the origin. Take a look at 32140, for example, the 2x4 L-shaped liftarm. (...) (26 years ago, 21-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Mailboxes vs. safes (was Re: Another parts request - thin walls)

(...) Okay, I'm home now, so this will thread [sorry about the message from work.] The part was first used both for a letter-box in town and trains: 6362, 6372, 6374[1983], 6651, 7824[1983] And then for a storage box in space: 6823[1983], (...) (26 years ago, 21-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Screen Resolution Poll

(...) 'nuff said! I use mostly 1280x1024 and my Netscape is about two-thirds of the screen wide and as long as it can be. Works just fine. Ppl. complaining about to long rows, just narrow the browser a tad, problem solved. /Tobbe (26 years ago, 21-Aug-00, to lugnet.publish)
