  So why build robots out of LEGO in the first place?
 
I have made the following personal observations about LEGO, and why it is my medium of choice for robot building. LEGO is very easy to assemble. You can figure out what you want beforehand, without really needing to worry too much about (...) (27 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I actually did a project in college that involved water rockets made out of pop bottles. We used a bicycle pump to pressurize the bottles. We found that the pump would break before the bottle did. Eric -- Did you check the web site first?: (URL) (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Make that three. My water rocket launcher is power by common household water pressure (45-70 PSI) and gets up to 75 ft. in the air with a 2 liter bottle. As for video the rocket accelerates so fast you can only see a water column appear on the lauch (...) (27 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
