I just got a LEGO package yesterday from a seller in Germany. And among them were about 50 old macaroni bricks in different colors. I was surprised to find that 5 of them were red macaroni bricks WITHOUT the missing "notch" of plastic that all of (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

I've been looking for the same thing ever since the Mindstorm set first came out. I eventually gave up. Resorted to making my own. If I happen to run across any web site that has an interesting tip, trick, design or oddity I save the page onto a Zip (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)
