Re: Frank Filz - please respond. (for Technic box #2)

(...) Well I got a couple of emails with his address and got the "package" mailed out to him today 8/10/00. Thanks for the help from everyone on the validation of Frank's address. (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Technic Box #2 Update -shipped (was: Update)

(...) Just for a follow-up, Technic box #2 was shipped out today 8/10/00 to Frank. Please update any tracking records to show that. Since Frank is on vac. I'm guessing he will be a bit slow to respond to acceptance. -mark (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Lego minifig scale Death Star or, gosh, I'm sorry!

This post was inspired by all those "Has anyone made a minifig scale Death Star?" and "At, last my minifig scale Millennium Falcon is complete!" posts. This is a joke! The moon is still there!(Go outside and look if you don't beleve me!) Hey all! (...) (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: More sexism from Lego (Was Re: 2000.2 Catalogue now out :)

(...) Well, I'd think twice anyway. Telstra's basic plan (256/64KB, max 250MB) is $85 per month, a bit less if you use them for long distance voice. You can get better speed & prices using cable. Regards ROSCO (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au, lugnet.general)

  Would it be fair?

Hey all, I'm strong on the policy of not exporting hard to find sets out of Australia anymore. BUT..I'd also really really love to get a hold of a ((URL) Sleeper car. So what I wanted to ask was...would swapping one of them Austrial Federal railways (...) (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Re: More sexism from Lego (Was Re: 2000.2 Catalogue now out :)

(...) That's assuming cable is available in your area and useful in your residence - my apt only has ONE cable outlet in the front room, I'd have to rip up the carpet to run cable back to the bedrooms - no thanks. I have phone jacks in every room, (...) (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: And more new mocs

Each wheel is made of two parts, the inside is a 4x4 round in drk gray (from SW "Y" wing) and the outside is the top of a black 4x4 turn table. The underside of the turn table top has nice detail not show in the cad drawing. I used a steak knife to (...) (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) <snipped> I think we may have to agree to disagree on this :) Though I shan't form further opinions until I've seen the rest of the catalog, at the point I was looking last night there were only the first 3 or so pages.   How many used to do this when building?

Hey all, Since I had to reconstruct some old Space and other sets to offer for trade in the past week, I noticed myself doing something I haven't had to now that TLG has finally moved the injection mark to the top of the stud. When you were (...) (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Autonomous Robot

(...) Yep - that would work - but we don't have an omni-directional sensor. I guess a conical diffuser with a regular lego sensor pointing straight upwards would work OK though. (...) <SNIP> (...) Why not turn a news reader to lugnet.com instead? I found it more efficient then this e-mail thingie.   New Aus Catalog mentions AFOLS (Was Re: 2000.2 Catalogue now out :)

  Re: Knight's Kingdom Set 4807

The thing that strikes me as odd about 4807 is that it is the only Knights' Kingdom set with the spoked cart wheels, all the others (that have wheels at all) have the big chunky "barbarians making do with what they can hack out of the woods" type. (...) (26 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Not a Soccer set but there are 2 of these green 4*12 brick plates in Knights' Kingdom 6095 Royal Joust.
