Re: Help wanted with old UK catalogue [long and contains most text/in fo from it.]

(...) Well, okay... (URL) a warning, the images are 1-300 K each. I'll try and create smaller copies of the pictures tomorrow/over the weekend and post them, along with a 1969 range catalogue [8 pages, printed in the UK, no prices/country given...I (...)   Re: My first Mech

Hi Greg, Looks like you've got a good start. I don't think I've seen anyone use technic beams to simulate missile ports as of yet, so that's a neat idea. The pistons on the legs are a nice touch. Are they functional? I also like the articulated (...) (26 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Hmm...

I was thinking of getting the Shoot and Score, since the board costs around $50. I have a question about it. Would I be able to expand the Shoot and Score if I bought just one of the football accesories packs? (That is, if I had two goals.) -- (...) (26 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.sports)

  Chicago Legofest - UPDATE

Good news! We have tentative use of Jameson Gagnepain's house on Sunday the 13th of August - located in St. Charles, IL, about an hour west of Chicago. That is conditional on his health and whether he gets back to work (even for an hour today) - so (...)   Re: Autonomous Robot

I explored the use of a single rotation sensor to make a robot drive straight here: (URL) can use a differential to take the difference of the two motors' output; if the motors are not moving at the same speed, you'll see some movement on the (...) (26 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  When we gonna BrikWar?

I've been thinking about trying to organize a regular BrikWars battle in Columbus. It looks like we could get a room at one of the local hobby stores on a weeknight evening. I've been thinking about trying to organize a weekly, or more likely (...) (26 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

Re: The 42nd Marine Unit "Screamin' Balrogs"

(...) That's funny, I wasn't actually copying any particular design when I built my Jetpacks. I do plan to blatantly copy the SM Landspeeder when I get a chance, though. :^) Aren't those helmet-thingys great? I love the chrome! ~Mark (26 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Is this piece currently available?

(...) I don't know if it is in any current sets, but I have 9 of them that I have no use for. E-mail me. Tom D (26 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.db.inv)
