Re: WHAT IF? Take a look!

(...) Lets put it this way: I don't think you are going to harm the Lego motor unless you build it into a special engine that is designed to stand 12 volts around highly banked corners. I can try it if you want...I have ample 12 volt supplies and (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Questions on power puller

Tractor pulling may be mostly a North American sport, although I have seen some German sites as well... for a view of what it's all about without needing the earplugs (Trust me, they rank up with Top Fuel dragsters for noise level) check out (URL) (...) (...) One thing I know I would buy, would almost be willing to bet (1) Larry would buy, and I'm sure others would buy, is if Kadee happened to decide that LEGO trains needed the benefit of their superior couplers (this actually could probably be (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Finally! Pallas Spaceworks Update

(...) You know, I actually built that gun 2 years ago... It was on the mecha I called the Gargoyle, which I never finished. I have since taken the gargoyle apart, but kept three of its guns assembled, hoping to find a use for them. I've now used (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.publish)

Over all, I'm pretty happy with the way the Scarab worked out though. I look forward to seeing your (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.publish)

Re: WHAT IF? Take a look!

(...) Actually, if we onle get ONE new part, I want a metal wheelset with power connection. I want several new parts, but not a huge number (roughly in order of desireability): - Metal wheelset with power connection - Train motor with jumper between (...)   Re: NMRA Details (zonker)

(...) Probably Thursday, to help Mike set up. I'm not sure I can be there on Friday. I'll try to find out if my brother can watch the setup for the day. If worst comes to worst, I'll call in sick. Paul Sinasohn (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Warhammer

A while ago I saw a Warhammer 40k land speeder that someone built out of Lego. Do any of you know where I can find it? Thanks, ~Mark (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: WHAT IF? Take a look!

(...) How do you assess popularity? Number of sets available? Number sold? If it is so popular, why is the number of train sets so thin on the ground? And why do shops not stock it? And why do Lego not even bother importing it into the UK as they (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains)

Mine are very tightly packed by using 8 1x2 plates with handle, and 2 1x1 plate clip lights. BTW I downloaded the .dat files for the Scarab and Panther, very nice!
