New Advent Calendar spotted in Utah: Set 2250

Tonight while checking the latest clearance wave at Target, I noticed the year 2000 advent calendar, set number 2250. The set includes 234 pieces. The printing on the face of the calendar is significantly different from the 1999 calendar and depicts (...) (26 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.announce)

(...) In active mode, the value you read from the light sensor depends on how you power the sensor and read the A/D converters. In particular, the delay from the time you turn off the power to the sensor to the time you do A/D conversion matters. (...) (26 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

(...) My apologies--I tanked them to make room for auction pics. I just have to figure out what my brickshelf password etc. are! best LFB PS: I'm leaving the East Coast on 9 August, so I probably won't make a PirateFest. (26 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.boats)

Re: Best Buys of Technic in Aus?

Being in the same situation (building up a Technics parts collection from nothing over the past year), I'd agree with David entirely on the merits of the 8480 Space Shuttle, 8448 Super Car Mark 2, and 8462 Pneumatic Tow Truck. I've bought all 3 and (...) (26 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
