  Re: Mecha Legs

(...) Mladen, please reconsider. One of the best ways for our models to improve is to promote cross-pollenation of ideas. As long as credit to you is duely given, can you see any possible disadvantage to letting others use your ideas? Cheers, - (...) (26 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.underground)

  Re: Got Mech?

(...) Very slick. Nice legs. (I mean the mecha, not you! :-) Actually, the whole model is great. The gantry is a nice touch. :-, BTW -- great background, too. The texture really adds to the atmosphere of the pictures. Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Stuart Little

I advise all of you with kids to check out Stuart Little at the flicks this weekend. Great film, which features a cameo role by a bunch of LEGO bricks disguised as a garage. Huw (had it on R1 DVD since April :-) ) (26 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

New to PBforth - a few questions

Hello, I just installed PBforth and the associated GUI interface. It works great! However I do have a few questions to anyone who can help. If I type or just hit the enter key things seem OK. But after it sits for a few moments it gets junk on the (...) (26 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

Re: Town Lego's in the movie Big

(...) I remember the skyscraper too, unfortuneately it wasn't a set. I thought that was pretty cool myself. I know there are more Lego's in there, I just didn't see any that stuck out in my mind. I would say he had the best job, though. FAO Schwarz (...) (26 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

  More Argos....

Well, looks like I've managed to get the last 8448 in the country, at £29.99! Before I take delivery, it has struck me that certain companies do price matches, if the item is in stock at another shop. Now my local TRU has a stack of these, so does (...) (26 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Mecha Legs

I would reconsider if he was the only person to ask me, but I get 10 e-mails each day from people asking me how they love my designs and want to use them in their own. Most of the messages I reply to with a yes, but this time no, this is my model, (...) (26 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.underground)

  Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update!

  Re: Mecha Legs

i'd have to agree with mladen on this one- the whole point of lego is creativity. i'd take the same approach i do with TLC models- build a copy first to familiarize yourself with any new pieces and their useage, then proceed to invent your own uses.   Re: Anyone built a droid rack?

That sounds cool...I would love to see pictures. What I'm really hoping, is to be able to make a rack that actually unfolds to deploy the droids. I haven't bought the MTT set yet. I figure to do what I want, I'm going to have to MOC it. Let us know (...) (26 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)
