Re: Cary TRU Has Star Wars Bucket

(...) I assume its going to end up looking more like the Glenwood Ave store. If it is the same arrangement, it isn't that bad. I got the Star Wars Bucker from S@H (I'll probably be doing a lot more buisiness there now, if you order $170 or so of (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc, lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral)

Re: Robert Jordan WOT (was Re: Harry Potter Lego Line)

(...) While Tolkien has no equal, I take exception to your statements. There are many "medieval fantasies" that are not derivatives of Tolkien, but the demand for them wouldn't exist if not for Tolkien. Undoubtedly there are some less original (...) (...) white (...) nothing (...) [coughing] rip-off [end coughing] Can you say Two Towers the second book of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Any other medieval fantasy is pretty much a rip-off of Tolkien's work. While it may not be the best reading it (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

  Re: running the motors underwater

Hi, I followed your underwater thread with interest. Today I noticed an underwater motorized propellor unit in the '99 Playmobil Add-Ons catalog. It might be adaptable, try (URL) and search for 'underwater'. Price: $5.59. It is a 1.5V motor and (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Received back ordered Bulk Paks yet?

All is well. I visited my local post office, a pleasant walk through the Village. For some reason they had two undelivered packages for me. The Lego came in a Priority Mail fibery bag marked 6/28. Not bad for a 6/30 order! I realize now my order was (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
