  Re: Mindstorms $69.99?

(...) I've checked 3 (or was it 4?) Targets, and found 1 shelf tag where they allegedly used to be. The others showed no sign of ever having stocked it. As a robot experimentation platform, the DDK sucks. However, at $70, it's getting into "Technic (...) (25 years ago, 8-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Yes, it does. Regards, Torsten NB: In case you're not able to get one from s@h or whomever I have two surplus ones which I would like to sell or trade (but not necessarily at once...). (25 years ago, 8-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains)

  FA(eBay): New Lots from 6190 Shark's Crystal Cave...and More

Hi all, I have 31 fresh lots on eBay as of tonight. All are 5-day auctions (except for one of the 8002s which is 7 days); they include many pieces from 6190 already, with more to come. Highlights include: -Blue 3x3x2 Quarter-Dome (Upper) Bricks (...) (25 years ago, 8-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

  MSRP sobbing at ZB

Much sadness was had at ZB today. The 7190 Millennium Falcon, before at $89.99 (I bought one at that price last week), has suddenly sprouted "$99.99" price tags crudely printed over the ZB barcode stickers--this at both local ZBs. Sigh, how sad. (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Is there interest in a new LUG?

(...) That would be my most likely date as well. (...) I'm leaning towards "SEASLUG." ;) (...) My only experience involves extracting money from University bureaucracies, so I won't be much help on this one. (...) I think that if we make it clear (...) Jason, In POV I turn the setting of Studs from 1 to 0 (1=ON 0=OFF) that will get rid of the bumps. It's near the top of the file, I also switch Seams from 0.5 to 0. Jamal (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.build)

(...) I (...) the (...) Yeah, I was given parts of this set. The real highlight is the viking helmet. If you take off the horns (mine didn't have any) and put the helmet on an armada fig, it stands unusually high on his head, but fits well. (...)   Re: WTB: Minifigs

Thanks for the information Brad. Some of those might work but I think most would look kind of strange with their various hats on inside the bus (firefighter and pizza chef, etc). Ponytails would hit the back of the seat also. I'm looking for people (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

(...) The 5318 service pack includes some (but not nearly enough <sigh>) hair. $2.99 from Shop-at-Home. If you buy a Town Folks, I'll swap hair for the chef's hat and hard hat, and you shouldn't have much trouble finding someone to swap for the (...)   Re: Which sets had the following in them?

I remember the Pizza To Go set had a white window frame with white shutters on the back of the delivery van. Of course mine are sort of yellow now, its an old set.   FT/FS: Minifigs and Technic Parts

Time to turn some parts I don't want from all those close-out sets into parts that I do want... Here's the list of what I have right now. All are brand new.   RE: Mindstorms $69.99?

Last week I spotted several DDKs at this same price at, of all places, FAO Schwartz marked down from their usually inflated price of $120. I haven't convinced myself I want to pay that much for it but if nothing better turns up soon I may have to. (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
