Hey Thanks, I am New to Lugnet however I live, eat, and sleep computers so getting around is a snap, Just wish i had as much time to invest in Lego as I do with computers. Looks like lego won't be dropping in price by as much as we hoped after the GST. Apparently the RRP has risen recently, caused by TLG/LA raising the wholesale set price. I'm currently basing this on the following: 'Impulse sets'. RRP is about $4.25. (...) (25 years ago, 25-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) The RCX will work off about 7volts as long as you don't use too many motors. (...) If you have RCX 1.0 with power adapter port you can use any 9~12 volt adapter. The lego train ones work great.
