  Re: What is this piece?

Hmm, it is not space. Well at least I've not seen it in a Space set. It is from a Technic Flex System Set. See it in the 5118 service pack: (URL) are common in technic aircraft sets - as they can be used as control cables, I think there is a (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Where did you lot spring from?

We're alive and kicking on strong. Our goal to make Loc.au go ahead of Loc.Ca (Canada) has been achieved, and apparently we're the fourth most active country on Lugnet. Italy's next!! So watch out world! (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)

  A recent Lego-oriented trip

As some of you know, I recently travelled by road from Melbourne to Sydney, taking in a string of toy stores along the south-eastern coast of Australia. Although I found a few interesting things along the way, they were almost all in Victoria, and (...) (26 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Damaged MINT Lego?

(...) The weight control is somewhat of a statistical thing. Any time you take a measurement of something, given a sufficiently precise (as in digits of precision as opposed to accuracy) measurement device, you will get different measurements each (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Princess Leia up close and personal

(...) Hello - I'm new. Here's my take on the matter: Jar Jar was kept in the film for the purpose of comic relief and making kids giggle. He had no relevance to the plot at all. That is what makes his presence different from the other films. In the (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: So... how'd it go? (version 2)

Ahh, I have a bunch of pictures, too, but they were taken with a regular camera, and are, as always, awaiting developing. Like Eric said, the game was fantastic. The setup looked like an actual village - we laid down the road network first this (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: The Law of Falling Lego

(...) This is one advantage of my system where most parts are in resealable bags (such as ZipLoc). Of course it adds a new way for Murphy to strike - you pick up an unsealed bag by the bottom... (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: automating switching rails

(...) touch (...) end (...) RCX, (...) reset (...) I've posted a listing of the RCX program I use to control a 9v train around a closed loop. It's an example of what's possible, but it's simplified. I left out the uncoupler logic and hardware for (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) know (...) It looks to me to be a part from the Technic Front End Loader, <set:8828>. See (URL) -Duane (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.space)
