(...) Thanks for the pointer, Jeremy--that's one fine site! I'd actually never seen pictures of the LK before, and some of those CGIs (especially of the Dyna Soar) are truly inspiring. Now, if only we'd have a proper shuttle windshield...;) best (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

 | | Mindstorms sighting at Costco
|
|
Heads up: I've been waiting to see if Costco (a membership wholesale warehouse akin to Sams Club) would carry any LEGO Mindstorms sets off-season from Christmas. About 30 came in a week or so ago, and priced at $159. So I bought another two. (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Yes it is, but only at some newsstands (plus the odd bookstore; my local Bookstar sometimes carries it). It's expensive, though: the newsstand I get it from charges $8.25 for it. If you call around you might just find it. -- Gordon (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I've never seen it here in the USA. I'd _love_ to find a source though. I wrote a programming article for Parallax and they had it published in Elektor in (I think) a four parter, as well as making it part of their Robotics coursework. But, (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) So that *was* you? I was going to ask, but thought it couldn't be, because the "Dennis Clark" who wrote it used the spelling "behaviour" throughout. Knew that couldn't have been you.... <g> I think I have all, or most, of that series, and I (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Hey, I'm a 6-8 wide fan myself! I would never build a 4-wide truck in "minifig-scale." I consider 6-wide to be a better minifig scale, especially for trucks. --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com ---...---oooo-----(_...o---...--- WWW: (...)
