Re: No more steel in jolly old England

(...) <snip> (...) Actually, it's my belief that the KK sets are France to the RK's England. Britain and France have always had close ties, with many British kings (for example) holding land in France. Both nations had lions as important parts of (...) (25 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) included (...) Actually, I think they're more of a take on British soldiers. Ever seen Braveheart? Even though it's just a movie, it depicts the English VERY closely to King Leo's Soldiers, especially the helmets and lion emblems. But that (...) (25 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: BrikWars 4/29 Directions

(...) Maybe I'll just bring an extra Medic or two. They're cheap. With the limit up to 300 points, I can even afford some armor for them.... eric (25 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Looking for Roof Pieces

5925 Pontoon Plane ($6) includes 3 pyramids, along with 2 2x2 black airplane windows (if only it also included glass!) and 2 1x4x2 black arches--not bad for a small set. 2152 Robo Raptor is the set of choice for the intersection part; I think it has (...)   Re: Scans of 1960's ads

(...) If there is an ad anyone really wants in its original environment (second hand Swedish Disney magazines), I can try to hunt for it next time I go to Stockholm. Prices vary, but usually they charge approximately: * early 60's: $4.50 - $7.50 (...) (25 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: New Set Availability at US S@H

(...) Sounds like a lame attempt to differentiate the SPUD-dinos in the different sets, to make it more desireable to buy all the sets. Positive spin: TLC's trying to reduce the feeling of "yet another triceratops" among buyers of mass-quantity. (...) (25 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

(...) That's a big boat! I like the interior detail you put in. This caliber work makes me feel a little insignificant. Keep it up! -Chris (25 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.boats)

Re: Minifig Box #2, another update

(...) I think the first mod I will make to any LEGO pieces will be to take some minifig legs, and turn them from pants to shorts. Anybody got a good paint-match for LEGO Yellow? Steve (25 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  head for minifig self-portrait?

Hey all, I'd like to do a minifig self-portrait one of these days, but I'm in need of a head that has glasses (not sunglasses) but no facial hair. I know that some of the divers heads fit this description, but they have a microphone to get rid of. (...) (25 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
