Re: FS: MISB 5571 180$ plus shipping

Just so you know, I'm in Canada and the flat rate for the 48 states is 20$US (by courrier). So your final cost is 200$US. Eric. (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Knight in shining armor...

(...) I figured it's made of two chrome headlights, like the ones in the front of <set:5771>. It took me a while to figure it out, though... (I think it was at least a year after first seeing it ;-) -Shiri (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: RCX vs. HandyBoard

(...) Here's one I can answer, at least a little bit: There's an HC11 port to gcc-2.8.1 and a Handyboard library to go with it. There's also a GCC-2.9.5 version out there. (URL) get you to either one. I program my Handyboard using Linux and GCC (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: brikwars...

(...) I suppose it depends on exactly how the comm system is set up. I picture individual talk groups for each squad with the capability of squads or larger groups to switch to a common talk group if initiated by a higher authority. That is, one (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Status of the OMR?

(...) As I think about it, I can bump that up in priority, because by the time the CD-ROM is ready to be pressed (hopefully in a month or so), I'd like to be able to put some OMR models in there. I'm very busy this week though unfortunately, so (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: My First Mecha and a new fighter

(...) reminds (...) Wow, it reminds me more of an AT-ST than an AT-AT, but extremely cool nontheless! The spaceship you made is also very cool... gotta love the defensive and engine details.   Re: more drafting paper...

Three views combined should produce an axonometric view. isn't that right? One part of the page can be left clear to use T-square and triangle for what looks something like a perspective view, but actually keeps acurate x, y, and z dimensions... (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

Individual Minifig orders from Lego Direct

Is it possible to order a single minifig in Quantity from Lego Direct, or work a deal with Consumer Affairs? Case in point, would it be possible to order the Gray Rock raiders Minifig ( the one with the gray Kepi hat )? - Joe (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: brikwars...

Have you read "Starship Troopers"? Not the craptacular Paul Verhoeven movie, but the Heinlein novel? RAH goes into quite a bit of detail on how his cap troops are in communication with each other; basically the grunts have radios with one channel (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.gaming)
