  Re: the latest news

Wow, just think of the possibilities!!! I don't think I can say much more than anyone else has said, but this is great!! I hope the setup and operation of Lego Direct goes smoothly. Wilson (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Bricks on the Brains Launches today!

(...) Oh yeah? What's the trick to make it work? I just get a picture of a brick-brain and no shopping opportunity. Chris (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Bricks on the Brains Launches today!

Looks like y'all missed one crucial bit of code... I can't get past the coverpage. I look forward to the 'real' launch though :) Cheers (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: News article about AFOL (from RTL)

(...) I agree! It's great! (...) Henry Lim is definitely around. Henry, the club they mentioned-- is that in ref to DixieLUG? And those two people are Eric H. and Craigo, aren't they? (...) Yeah, I thought so too. LUGNET isn't mentioned at all. :-| (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Cut off the dying vine

Actually, (Me being a kid myself) I only bought some of the rock raiders sets for one reason- the minifigs. They have the coolest new heads, and the torsos make good special-ops 'figs. My little brother , on the other hand, bought the full set.. He (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.underground)

  Re: 6901

(...) Good old 6901. The ugliest thing I've ever seen. Lots of great parts in it, though. I got mine when I was ten...my brother mocked it and the 6861 X-1 Patrol for being abominations in the face of design, at least in comparable regards to his (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: brikwars...

(...) I see what you mean. (...) Shoot, I really did make that kind of unclear. The text in 1.3 is a holdover from the 1996 rules, when all attacks were cumulative not just for each turn, but for whole rounds. We found that was really hard to keep (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.gaming)

Re: Cut off the dying vine

(...) I agree the minifigs are not bad at all. I got the $3 set to get Jet (the female) and if I see the m-f pack on sale I'll be happy to get it. The big sets, tho', seem like a waste of my money (which is limited, and I'd rather see it going on (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.underground)
