(...) True. Every set has too many specialty pieces, and they can't be easily integrated into other themes. Plus, the price:piece ratio is too expensive. I'd buy a few of the sets, IF they went on extreme clearance. Of course, that would only be for (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.underground, lugnet.castle)

(...) The cost per piece in the Rock Raiders sets is higher than for any other theme, and the number of juniorized parts and SPUDs is in general quite high. I suspect that parents balk at the former, and both AFOL and discerning JrFOL (who would (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.underground)

 | | Solution for the white maiden's cap
|
|
To the open ears at TLC, $30+ dollars for a stinkin' maidens cart on EBAY is not doing the valued lego enthusiast any favors. We all want the white maidens cap! I lost mine years ago. The solution is easy. Make a new six dollar maiden's cart with (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Ordinarily, I don't believe in "me-too" posts. However, since it is feasible that TLG is using the content of this newsgroup to plan Lego Direct's output, I will add my two cents. I agree with James Trobaugh. If we can order the standard blue-tub (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

In the course of acquiring sets from other Lego fans, I've discovered that my Lego closet has started to smell of mildew from said acquired boxes. I've removed the questionable boxes from the closet, but is there any good way to get rid of the (...) (26 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)
