  Re: brikwars...

(...) I just had a stack of 'em made up for all my different troops and vehicles. Some checking was needed, but not all that much. (...) <gamer geek> Absolutely. Let's assume a SpaceMan is firing at another SpaceMan with penalties and bonuses that (...) (26 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.gaming)

Re: Going Shopping in the only Lego Outlet in Canada

They do have alot of catalog only sets: train snowthrower, cross track, switches, and the Model Team Racing Truck. Be prepared to pay full retail and FL sales tax (6%??).   Knight in shining armor...

I was re-cruising baseplate.com after meeting Suz in person... it was fun remembering how I first saw those kits and ideas. (At my mom's office in Israel, every picture took about an hour to download... :-) Well, it took me a *long* time to figure (...) (26 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Novice Castle Question

(...) I'm sure there is, somewhere. (An SCA website perhaps?) Mine just comes from reading. A *lot*. 8) On the other hand. www.dictionary.com has been fairly complete when I've used it - I did it for the quoted post, in fact, to sanity-check what I (...)   Re: Freckle Face Head

(...) I'm not positive about this, but it seems like Anakin's head is *not* the same town/paradisa freckled head. Is that so? (...) Same with my paradisa+town+train figs, until recently - I realized they have great potential when used in the right (...) (26 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  FA-Ebay: More bulk bricks

Re: looking for large spoked wheels

(...) Chris, The large red (and white) 1970's spoked wheels are highly prized. If no one is willing to give them up, you may have to check EBAY (look under "LEGO WHEELS"). I just checked EBAY, but couldn't find any at the moment. By the way, the (...) (26 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Knight in shining armor...

(...) The Armada Flagship, one of the Pirate Mini-Figures sets, and I *think* Pirate's Perilous Pitfall. Not sure if there were any others offhand (It may also have been in one of the Time Losers sets, they have a lot of random parts.) Unlike the (...)   Re: Thought on pbForth

I am new to this group so please forgive this reply to an old thread. I've been doing embedded realtime software for over 20 years. A small amount of that has been using FORTH.   Re: Grabber arm

I've built the grabber on, although not using the current step-by-step instructions. My son Isaac was enamored with the photo on the RIS box, and begged for months for me to build it. I'd started a couple of times, and found recreating the (...) (26 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)
