 | | Indy & legOS bugs... :-)
(26 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.it)

 | | Re: HELP! Problem with Light Sensor HELP!

(...) This is quite normal. If you configure input one on a normal RCX as a light sensor, but don't connect a sensor, you get raw readings of 1022 - 1023. (...) That's RAW, isn't it? Hope this helps ... Simon (26 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

 | | Re: part inventory list

Dear Lego, I couldn't agree more. Just as sets have a number, the parts should too. When I was a kid, I could ask my parents to buy me a set just by saying the number. The same thing should be done for pieces, it would be so very useful and helpful. (...) (26 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

 | | CyberMaster Touch Sensors
Hi. I'm trying to use the touch sensors that came with CyberMaster on the RCX and they have a strange behaviour. When I first connect the touch sensor, I monitor it's value in the RCX lcd and it shows 0, then I press the touch sensor and the lcd (...) (26 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

 | | Re: how...RCX talk to each other?
Finally, a question I can answer! To transmit a message to another RCX, use the Green Commands block, "Send to RCX." To program behavior on the receiving RCX, use the Blue Sensor Watcher, "RCX." The messages are simple 8-bit numbers (from 0 to 255), (...) (26 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)
