I had to do this for my Charles Degaulle (?) figure for my Eiffel Tower. I stuck a 2x4 'camera' brick with studs on 4 sides and a tube on the end in between the body and legs. I also put a 1x1 plate on the bottom and a 1x2 plate on that for feet. (26 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)
