Nice topic :) I'd say my specialty is in making accurate models in minifig scale. I typically spend awhile collecting pictures, descriptions, close-ups of whatever I'm considering, and then attempt to make a no-compromises rendition of it to scale (...) (26 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

I have found several disscussions about particular sets on Lugnet (well, perhaps not about the sets *only*, parts and alt. models as well), but not any disscussions about the Rocky River Retreat. Could it be that I am the only one on Lugnet who (...) (26 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

I was checking kbtoys.com and found the model team set 5561 for $39.95, which is half price. It looks like it has two train doors and 4 train windows, though the picture is kind of small. Your not alone. I love this set too. I bought in 1993 along with my 6399 Airport Shuttle. Those got me into LEGO big time and were the first two sets in my first LEGO city. Although the set is currently in scatered pieces (I have all the parts, (...) (26 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)
