Re: Anyone been watching the Robo Olympics on BBC2 this week?

(...) been (...) They could have shortened the painfully contrived interviews with human atheletes and concentrated more on the designs of the robots. Use of the video fast-forward through the interviews reduced each programme to around 10 minutes. (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: matching motor speeds on mutli-motor trains

(...) I've been thinking the same thing. I almost always put two motors on each loco and I'm beginning to suspect that some of my biggest mismatches, which I've perhaps left that way for too long, have actually been causing damage to one motor or (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Strathclyde minifest - this coming weekend

Sigh, I canna mak it. I'm best man at a wedding on Saturday. Think of me as things get underway, at 10:30 I'll be sitting down to a wet shave in a Ye Olde Barber Shop... no doubt, if I get cut a leach shall be used to mop up the mess. Have fun. (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: 6970

Great model. Looks good for the OMR when the planet logo parts are made official. I assume you are going to put it up for the ldraw.org official model repository. There is 1 problem with the dat file that I can see: it is missing the flag that is (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets)

  Re: 8002 Destroyer Droid

(...) Most of the errors I found in the instructions for 8001 and 8002 are, as I said, not too significant. They're mostly pieces coloured wrongly, offset a bit wrong, and some times pieces change in following instruction steps. Just the kind of (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Where in Brisbane has a good range of large sets?

Hello Kerry, good to see a message in Brisbane newsgroup. (...) Myer in Queen Street has a fairly good selection, but you should also try Toys R US at Pick n Pay Hypermarket in Aspley. They have a good selection of lego and many larger sets. Some (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.au.qld.bri)

  Problem with primitives?

I've been screwing around with some part authoring, and I give a big Thank You to Lars Hassing for L3Lab and L3P, both of which have made proofing much easier than rendering and rerendering and rererendering in LDraw. However, I notice that on one (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Georgia LEGO Outlet is Cool!

(...) I'll make a brief point with my problem with all this. When I found out about the Lego Outlet I found some rather rare sets and posted them to the web. Then I went back and did a complete inventory and posted everything to the web. I go to the (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)
