Re: New Starfighters at Moonbase Io!

(...) Cool fighters! Although I don't think it's new, I really like the Skyfox. --Bram (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Elements I'd like to see...

(...) One of the best pieces Lego should revive for future sets are the tracks from the technic bulldozer set #856 . They were the most realistic tracks ever put on any set. The new rubber tracks are not that good for the technic line they simply (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: 8462 Super Tow Truck

Thanks for your responses. I am looking to buy the set based on its own quality. Consensus is that the truck is the wrong scale to tow the supercar, but some of the smaller sets fit well. Thanks again for you input, Rob (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.technic)

I've Built Them (Re: Villiager Mini-Figs?)

Thanks for everything. I pulled up my fig tray and began putting some stuff together. Here's what I built: Jeff Stembel's Lich 2 Innkeepers 1 Bartender 1 Prisoner 1 Smithy 1 Wizard 2 Mercenaries 9 People to walk around 7 Merchants (2 to sell stuff, (...)   Re: Containers

(...) Hehehe, now *that* would be fascinating... It does however go online April 1st. (Ackkk! I know, I know! but I have to wait for the machine it will be on to be configured!) I am considering going ahead and launching Pallas Spaceworks early, on (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

4- vs. 6- vs. 8-wide debate redux (Was: Re: Containers)

(Okay, this is posted to .build _only_, because it has no relation to trains whatsoever. It has nothing to do with containers either, only the ongoing 4- vs. 6- vs. 8- wide controversy.) I was just thinking this morning how I need to build some (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Minifig sites and newbie teasing

(...) <clown mode> Well then I'm definitely not a newbie anymore! <);-) </clown mode> (...) If it's any consolation, I never do either. I asked for a metroliner for my 15th birthday, about 10 months in advance... my parents said they'll get me one (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.people)

  Bidding looniness

I have to scratch my head and wonder why someone would bid over $2 per Knight's Kingdom Kettle Hat, when you can get the hat, the minifig, two crossbows, a shield, and a few other pieces for the same $2. Isolated (no foreign distribution)? Too (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

(...) Knight's (...) Most likely the first. Or perhaps simply someone who is unaware of the <set:4811 Defense Archer> set. Or the last. The second seems a bit implausible (although still possible). -Shiri FUT .market.theory (26 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.market.theory)
