Re: 2 Wanted Parts - Not Rare

(...) I need some really simple parts but I can't get hold of them in reasonable condition. 2 1x2 yellow plates for double 4559 conversion, I would also need 2 1x2 black plates and 2 extreme slope pieces in black. 2 2x8 Dark Grey plates - for 12V (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Control six Micro Scouts with a fiber optic module?

I had this really sick idea last night, and I thought I'd throw it out for discussion. In theory, you could control up to six Micro Scouts or Code Pilots using two motor outputs and one sensor input. GOTO was very easy to program. :o) A little more seriously now: I think it belongs to the BASIC-like syntax I have chosen. Especially in IF statements. Anyway, noone is forced to [ab]use it. I don't think WHILE-WEND will be too hard to code, and it (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Still have lot to sell/trade

  IR sensitivity of CCD cameras

As has been noted, a lot of CCD cameras are very sensitive to IR. You can take advantage of this by building IR illuminators out of half a dozen or so higher power IR LEDs. I think radio shack sells them. String them in series, add the appropriate (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)
