Re: 1200 brick Blue Tubs on sale at TRU

OK, after ordering 20 online, I went to my local TRU (28th and E Beltline, Kentwood), bought the 14 they had in store, and talked to the manager, He gave me a raincheck for 36 more. He's sympathetic as he collects Technic... But anyhoo, anyoe who is (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  NQC examples?

I'm thinking of putting together a package (RPM, tar.gz) containing sample NQC code. It'd probably be designed to be released under either the GPL or MPL. I know there's some stuff on Dave's website already; would the authors of that code like to (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc, lugnet.robotics)

Re: who choose parts numbers ?

(...) More specifically, after you submit the part for inclusion in the L-CAD update, we do some more research to try to find the 'correct' number. If no number can be found, the partfile will be given a 3-digit number. For your own work, you can (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: MLCad Suggestions

(...) Gestural activation is way different than true modal operation - there is no additional interface component (the "specification of operation" is part of the operation itself) and there is no state change either before or after the operation.   Found: #6037 and #6766 on clearance

Our local KayBee has about five #6037's for $5 each, and three #6766's for roughly $35 each. (URL) willing to pick these up and pass them along to any interested Lugnetters (cost + shipping.) I'm also willing to part them out, if you like. Thanks, - (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Thoughts on using yellow for a castle...

(...) Wow! That's a lot of gray. I have to believe that out of the 7 1200 piece tubs I have, I should be able to come up with plenty of yellow for the time being. I also plan on trading a lot of the bulk colors I don't need no for more yellow. (...) (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Thoughts on using yellow for a castle...

(...) I bought around 50 of the service packs last year. Which is 700 2x4 bricks alone. Unfortunately there are not as many 1xX bricks in the packs so I am running low on 1xX's now. I still have a lot of 2xX's though so my limiting factor for the (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  New Robots

I added some new robot designs to my site. Check out the Moon Buggy ((URL) based on a directional transmission, and the Walk and Roll Bot ((URL) based on a 90 degree rotated tread design. As usual, feedback is appreciated... Rich Thompson (URL) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)
