(...) I just moved and it is now packed up, but I will once I can. (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Thoughts on using yellow for a castle...

(...) Wow! That's a lot of gray. I have to believe that out of the 7 1200 piece tubs I have, I should be able to come up with plenty of yellow for the time being. I also plan on trading a lot of the bulk colors I don't need no for more yellow. (...) (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

I have a large hill (volcano) behind my Imperial town at: www.cyberis.net/~tco...models.htm Take a look. Tim (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Thoughts on using yellow for a castle...

(...) I bought around 50 of the service packs last year. Which is 700 2x4 bricks alone. Unfortunately there are not as many 1xX bricks in the packs so I am running low on 1xX's now. I still have a lot of 2xX's though so my limiting factor for the (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  New Robots

I added some new robot designs to my site. Check out the Moon Buggy ((URL) based on a directional transmission, and the Walk and Roll Bot ((URL) based on a 90 degree rotated tread design. As usual, feedback is appreciated... Rich Thompson (URL) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  The Legoseidon Adventure....

I had a weird dream last night that I was in the movie The Poseidon Adventure (For those of you who aren't familiar with the movie, it's about a large ocean liner that capsizes)...except the whole ship was Legoized!!!! Everything looked like it did (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: ( warning, sacrilege) Customized pieces

(...) Gee, I am willing to take all of these black swords off of your disgusted hands for a cheap price! And if you happen to have any other MegaBloks stuff: silver swords, winged lions, griffons, witches, Kings with lion maces, brown castle chairs, (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  3D Modeling

Hello, At this moment I am drawing (Technic) Lego parts in a 3D CAD program. The advantage of this program is that you can easy visualize the working of you model. (e.g. when you make a motor and turns the crank axle, the pistons will be go up and (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Pod Racing Bucket

I heard from Crispin at the construction site that the pod racing bucket is going to be jr. More like freestyle, like instead of those cool yellow pieces on anakins pod there would just be yellow plates for example. (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Brad Justus...

(...) I have to disagree with this pretty strongly. My idea of the bulk orders service would include minimums not too far out of reach of the average builder, and at a price that would make subsequent smaller auctions unlikley. The whole internet (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Exploration Mars Camera

On www.amazing1.com they have a camera page, and there is a camera that is color, it has sound, and is supposedly very small(1.5in x 1.5in). I do not know if they changed it, but there was one there before. Andy (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Help! - MLCAD won't read 754.dat

The problem is in the dat file itself, due to another problem in MLCad it is reported as if it would not exist. The file 754.dat contains some illegal character-combinations in the lines 29 and 30. Both start with "01" instead of "0" or "1". The (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: Thoughts on using yellow for a castle...

(...) I love the Yellow Castle myself. As far as using Yellow on a large scale I say why not! I personally have more Gray now than any other color thanks to a bunch of Gray Service Packs I bought last year. I think any color done right would look (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: 32191.dat and request photo of Technic Panel #3 and #4 (32188)

(...) This not the best way to proceed. It is better to use 3-8cyli.dat instead, and then hard-code the last polygon (or two), based on the polygons from 1-4cyli.dat. But the approach you describe has been used on some parts. Steve (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Thoughts on using yellow for a castle...

I fianlly started construction on my walled city. I started on the gate house, and the front wall. I was building in gray. Very early in the building process, it became painfully obvious that I just don't have enough gray... As I was sitting there (...) (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)
