Where to buy 8735 (and possibly RIS)?

Hi All, Whilst having recently discovered the joys of Lego (mainly Mindstorms RIS + Technic), I'm finding myself with a need for more geared motors. The trouble is, I'm enjoying building and motorising the Technic kits that I originally bought as (...) (26 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: the Balladeers of Castle World

(...) Actually, Karl, I think the intent is to have many *different* kingdoms on the CW map, rather than have everyone operating in the same kingdom. Thus Nebachaned could be threatening your area of Castle World, while Arjan's Qaballah and Craig's (...) (26 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Boilers

And yeah, I was thinking about just modeling the tops of the boilers...but I haven't settled on a solution yet. best LFB (26 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.boats, lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Fierce warrior names

(...) Among these, Hiryuu (Flying Dragon) and Arashi (Storm) can sound like names for warriors or wrestlers. They sound pretty good. Most of the others are simply words which would be pretty unlikely as names (e.g. Nukiuchi, Tomogui & Gaidoku), but (...) (26 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.jp)

Simple (but fun) Castley Strategy Game(y)

The Setup ---...--- We decided on the theme first - classic good vs evil, this worked well as it allowed me to lead an army of skeletons, zombies and timmies against smiley castle folks. As with all these games - the more space you have the better, (...) (26 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Boilers

Larry Pieniazek wrote (...) How about because Lindsay, arch pirate and knower of all manner of obscure things piratical, wants it that way. Sounds fine by me. Oh, and because I'm trying and failing dismally to put a teeny tiny boiler into my period (...) (26 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.pirates)
