Where to buy 8735 (and possibly RIS)?

Hi All,

Whilst having recently discovered the joys of Lego (mainly Mindstorms RIS +
Technic), I'm finding myself with a need for more geared motors.

The trouble is, I'm enjoying building and motorising the Technic kits that I
originally bought as donor parts for robots, and I can't bring myself to break
them up (or extract the motors) just yet.

So, does anyone have any recommendations as to where I can get good deals on
8735's. The best I've seen so far is a local toy shop for £24.

I appreciate that one can get these motors in some of the ZNAP kits like 3552,
but I'd prefer the 8735's 'cos of the extra useful bits you get with them.

The other possibility is an additional Mindstorms RIS - any good deals to be
had on those or are they £160 everywhere?

Maybe someone out there has some of the above for sale or trade? I might
possibly have an 8448 or two to trade!

Thanks,
Conrad

(...) :) I know the feeling! (...) Yeah, ZNAP is pretty useless.. but it is worth it if you can pick that set up for £5 - check your nearest Beatties. Richard (25 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

www.toycity.dk have it for £18.48. Search for "Lego Technic" or "Advanced Power Pack ". Their shipping is normally quite low. Scott A (...) -- Scott A My Lego Site : (URL) List : (URL) (25 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
