Re: Castle (?) Legofest? (was: Re: [CW] FAQ - War)

(...) Yeah, I love it here. Having easy access to the Smithsonian is great! :) (...) It's about half an hour south of DC along I-95. It is in Potomac Mills Shopping Center, in Virginia. (...) Well, I'd like it to be a general Legofest, and try to (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Re: Black

(...) True, I was shocked at all the colors that were "white". I think part of this is due to the poor quality of the construction paper. Close examination indicates a fair amount of unstained fiber, for instance the black read a lousy 47, compared (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: Stone Tower Bridge down to $20 at Wal-Mart

(...) Where is this? Please tell! I wanted to get this but my budget was too strict! But for $20... Of course I'll buy it! Where did you find this? TIA, Shiri (URL) (26 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Questionable eBay auction

(...) Is this a common practise in the States? It seems like a blatant example of shafting the customer, to me. I can see a fee for MO's not in US funds, or for MO's not drawn against a US bank, but a US money order drawn on a US bank should be (...)   Re: re-What is happening to LEGO in UK +others

I can talk about this all night - But I'm watching Serpico tonight. Since you were young, some things have changed: 1. Kids 2. Society, and the way it treats kids. 3. They way toys are marketed and designed 4. Local retail structure. All 4 are (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) flat surfaces, so not as tricky as the Insectoids one. I'll take a look and see how possible it is. Even so it won't be quick, I'm afraid. Chris (26 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Stone Tower Bridge down to $20 at Wal-Mart

Boy, I had to wait forever for this. I finally found the Stone Tower Bridge from the Ninja line at $20 at a local (SoCal) Wal-Mart. The Mummy's Tomb (don't remember the exact name) went through another price reduction to $10 (down from $22, then (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: [CW] FAQ - War

Castle (?) Legofest? (was: Re: [CW] FAQ - War)

(...) Oooh! The prospect of DC itself is exciting, as I've only been there when I was three and naturally don't remember much ;-) + Outlet Store? Where is it? I'd love that too!   Interesting article in new Adventurers magazine

Just for a change, there's something interesting in it. An article about desiging the Arctic sets. Apparently work started in 1987, and again in 1996 - and there's pictures of models (that never surfaced) from both previous attemps. Also, very cool, (...)   Re: Positioning

Hi Mauro, Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but it seems to me that if you can't tell your robot how to turn correctly, no mapping system would work. The system I used contained a simple TURN LEFT, TURN RIGHT method. Each turn is 45 degrees. I didn't (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)
